Accreditations:

ACCME: Pfiedler Enterprises is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education to physicians. AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are awarded based on the designated hours for each activity.

Nurse Credit:

Pfiedler Enterprises is approved by the California State Board of Registered Nurses to award credit. (BRN # 14944) Options for credit through the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation may be obtained through various specialty nursing groups. The preference for Pfiedler Enterprises is through the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses, Inc. an accredited approver by the ANCC.

Alliance for CME-The International Association of CME Professionals:
The Alliance provides educational opportunities, professional development, information exchange, and supportive services. These assist members in adapting to the changing health care environment, improving the CME activities offered for physicians, and shaping the future of the CME field.


Live Events:

These are educational opportunities that provide a forum whereby expert faculty and practitioners interact and exchange ideas specific to their field of practice, that ultimately improves the quality of patient care.

The setting may be local, regional, national and international. They can be structured too award continuing education credit or not for credit. In addition to live meetings, teleconferencing and web events are also available.

Self-Directed Activites:

These are educational opportunities available to the health care professional that they complete on their own time in their own setting. Experts in the field are involved in the development of content that is suitable for awarding credit to the learner. The formats available include monographs, manuals, CD-ROM, videocassette, DVD/CD.
