Pfiedler Enterprises’ mission is to provide continuing medical education to healthcare professionals. Judith I. Pfister, RN, BS, MBA
Judith Pfister is CEO of Pfiedler Enterprises, Ms. Pfister provides expertise in healthcare, business, and education. Specific areas of service include consultation and education services to healthcare manufacturers and hospitals.

She also coordinates market research projects such as focus panels, clinical testing of products and end users surveys.

Ms. Pfister has served as an educator and consultant for healthcare product manufacturers and hospitals. Her nursing background is in the area of operating room nursing, where she filled positions ranging from staff nurse to Assistant Director of Nursing/Operating Rooms. She is also recognized as a nationally known expert in the laser field and is the editor of the publication, Laser Network, a quarterly newsletter which keeps one current with events in laser medicine, surgery, technology, and industry.

Julia A. Kneedler, RN, MS, EdD
Julia Kneedler is COO of Pfiedler Enterprises, Inc. Her responsibilities include designing and implementing continuing education activities for healthcare professionals and medical industry sales personnel. In addition, she consults with medical industry on product introduction to the marketplace, conducting focus panels and writing white papers or clinical outcomes publications. 

She is a co-founder of Pfiedler Enterprises, which formally was Education Design. She has been involved with the corporation since its inception in 1981. Her previous employment was with the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses, where she was responsible for developing and implementing educational activities for World Conference, Congress and other planned events. Prior to this she was the Director of Operating Room at PorterMemorialHospital in Denver, worked at LomaLindaMedicalCenter, Operating Room and began her career in the operating room at Greater Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. 

Julia earned her Bachelor of Science Degree at Walla WallaCollege in College PlazaWashington, her Master of Science Degree at LomaLindaUniversity in Loma Linda, California and her Doctorate of Education at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. 

Julia has been a member of AORN since 1967 and has served on many local and national committees. She is co-author of the textbook entitled, "Perioperative Patient Care - The Nursing Perspective" and has authored and co-authored many books and manuals published by AORN. She is a member of ANA, AORN, and Sigma Theta Tau. Among her many achievements is the AORN Award for Excellence received in 1996.

ACCME: Pfiedler Enterprises is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education to physicians. 

IACET: Pfiedler Enterprises has been reviewed and approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 1620 I Street, NW, Suite 615, Washington, DC  20006. 

Live Events: These are educational opportunities that provide a forum whereby expert faculty and practitioners interact and exchange ideas specific to their field of practice, which ultimately improves the quality of patient care. The setting may be local, regional, national and international. They can be structured to award continuing education credit or not for credit. In addition, to live meetings, teleconferencing and web events are also available. 

Self-directed Activities: These are educational opportunities available to the health care professional that they complete on their own time in their own setting. Experts in the field are involved in the development of content that is suitable for awarding credit to the learner. The formats available include monographs, manuals, CD-ROM, videocassette, DVD/CD and web-based.   

Focus Panels: This is an opportunity for medical industry to obtaining information from end users to incorporate into research and development of new products or making changes that increase ease of use and creates a friendlier product. 

The Surgical Experience: Codes of Conduct and Safety is designed specifically for industry representatives who are in the operating room. This learning activity prepares them to function as a member of the team during surgical procedures. Have the best prepared people working for you and presenting your products.
